  • Increase awareness of closest geographic points of care and resources
  • Build culturally sensitive prevention models
  • Improve access to high quality abortion care

The Montana Access Project (MAP) provides anonymous, FREE and confidential responses- a safe space where anyone can access accurate and timely information about sex, birth control, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and/ or sexuality.

ASKMAP provides responses during business hours:

  • Monday- Friday- 9 am- 6 pm

What we CAN do:

  • Respond to anonymous text messages with accurate and non-judgmental information
  • Give quick and easy answers to spur of the moment sexual health questions
  • Direct you to reliable clinics and resources in your area where you can get birth control, reproductive health care, STI treatment or abortions
  • Money an issue? WE can help connect you to public funds/programs that may provide care 

What we CANNOT do for you:

  • Take the place of a real live doctor. Let's be real. We cannot properly diagnose you through a text message.

Anyone who is currently on a cell phone plan that includes texting will not pay for using ASKMAP. If you are not on an unlimited texting plan, there may be applicable charges for the text messages sent or received by your cell phone carrier. ASKMAP does not charge any additional fees for using the text message helpline
